Greg Hanson Bio

Greg spent 40+ years in sales and marketing roles with different manufacturing companies, the last 30 years in various leadership positions. A few years ago, he retired from corporate life and moved into the nonprofit world. He now helps companies connect to nonprofit missions that fit the company’s values and social initiatives. Currently he is an independent rep working with MATTER, a local nonprofit, where he sells employee engagement events to companies in which a team building activity is combined with service to the community and charitable giving. He will be talking more about this in a minute.

Greg also serves on the boards of two nonprofits that support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities – Hammer Residences and eQuality Pathways to Potential. Both organizations serve his adult daughter who has Down Syndrome.

Greg spends a great deal of time networking with people around the greater Twin Cities, especially people who are in job transition. He is co-founder/facilitator of Manufacturing Executives in Transition, a career transition and networking group focused on helping senior leaders in manufacturing who are in job transition.

Greg is a native Minnesotan, married for 43 years as of last Tuesday (Oct 18), has three adult children and three grandchildren all under the age of 9. He is busy and enjoying life to the fullest.
